I LOVE when people share their favorite Amazon purchases, so I thought I would share my top five Amazon purchases in 2020. We’ve been Prime members for years but never has my membership been more useful than during a pandemic. Puzzles and tie-dye kits kept us busy over the Summer. But it’s the basics that have surprisingly become some of my favorite daily staples! SO without further ado, these are my tried & trues of 2020.

Amazon Essential (2-Pack) White Classic Fit Crew-Neck T-Shirts

I bought these on a whim to tie-dye but ended up liking the fit so much that I decided to keep them as is to replace my dingy old white tees. I even bought another pack because I liked them so much. They are perfect basic tees for light layering.

Elastic Ponytail Holders

These come in a pack of 100. NEVER again will I be digging in drawers to find a hair tie! I threw some in my car, some in my purse, and some in my nightstand. They are the perfect size for my hair (not too tight, not too loose) and don’t leave even a hint of a dent when you take it out. And I love the neutral colors too! These are award winning for sure, if you ask me. FIVE STARS.

Amazon Essential Hoodie Men’s Zip Hooded Sweatshirt

This was another surprise hit. I bought the white hoodie thinking I would tie-dye it (btw…tie-dye will forever remind me of quarantine life from now on) but I was so impressed with the quality that I decided to add it to my sweatsuit collection instead. I now have one in black and one in white. And I just noticed Amazon also has jogger sweatpants that look like they match so I may give those a try next!

Phone Suction Cup Mount

This was advertised to use on your windshield in your car. But I never really use my phone in my car. I get more use attaching it to mirrors for making videos or taking selfies in front of my full-length mirrors. It is also great for filming makeup tutorials. The suction cup is REALLY strong and holds my iphone max easily.

CND Rescue RX

I haven’t had a proper pedicure since February. And since I am not going anywhere fun anyway, I’ve been letting my toenails breath. I don’t know about you, but I have terrible white spots on my toenails after I remove polish that I’ve had on for a long time. This product completely helped rehab my toenails. I think I may do a whole post on what I did to get my toenails in shape. That’s how impressed I was with this product.

2021 is going to be the year of organization for me. Like, for real. I have always been the organized chaos type. I may have piles everywhere, but I know what is in those piles. Well, not anymore. Enter Erin Condren’s new Focused Collection.

I’m most excited to get started on my meal planning! I never used to be a grocery shopping planner. I would just walk the aisles and grab the usual items. But now that we are cooking at home more than ever, I’ve been saving my grocery lists and am more aware of what items I need for our repeat meals. And now with the focused meal planner, I can keep my shopping lists and commonly used recipes together and even plan my meals in advance (in an organized fashion, of course!). My husband is going to be ecstatic that I don’t steal his work pads for my grocery lists anymore.

Another goal of mine is to create a master list of friends & family birthdays. It’s great having important dates in my phone, but for some reason EVERY year, my phone deletes everything in my calendar. Does this happen to anyone else? I’m loving the Focused Notebook for jotting down dates I want to save. That way, I can easily update my Pocket Planner each month.

Hot cocoa dessert charcuterie boards are all the rage! We got lucky and our elf magically knew we would love to wake up to a hot cocoa bar! Complete with all the sweet treats and trimmings.

You can even make your own little gingerbread house mug hangers! That would be a fun holiday activity to decorate them as well!

A fun little trick is to dip the rim (very lightly) of your mug in honey and then into your favorite holiday-themed sprinkles. What kid (or adult for that matter) doesn’t love sprinkles? Super easy way to make your mugs look a little more festive. You can also make your own stir sticks simply by melting chocolate chips, dipping a cake pop stick in the chocolate, and then roll them in mini marshmallows or crushed candy canes! Hot cocoa dessert charcuterie boards are so fun & easy to make. I highly recommend giving it a try this year!
