i am wearing: pink gingham top from target, paige boyfriend jeans, seychelles cut-out wedges, F21 necklace, belt is from another shirt and doily clutch c/o krustal. ooh, and i am wearing essie’s french affair nail polish!

today is all about inspiration! the ladies over at two birds have started inspiration monday, where each week they post an inspirational outfit and then we get to share our version of the outfit. this week it was gwen stefani who i happen to love! and speaking of things i LOVE…check out my new BEAUTIFUL doily clutch! i happened to be on twitter when @itskrust tweeted that she needed inspiration for her etsy shop so i suggested she make doily clutches! not only did she name them after “the stylish housewife“, but she sent me my very own to keep! i absolutely ADORE it…thank you so much kristina! you can get yours here (they come in grey and brown too)!

Your outfit looks spectacular. Except you know you can’t see the shirt is gingham right? It totally looks like a solid color of white actually. So weird. I am visualizing the pink gingham thouh and it is very cute.
Love the sash tied into a bow. The clutch is very cool looking. You have the best jeans here.

I’m in awe about how you could literally wear what the inspiration told you – beat-up boyfriend jeans and a plaid shirt – and make it look so refined, so ladylike. Wow. That’s what I call “inspiration”, as the outfit has a totally different feel with the exact pieces. Amazingly done!
