we had our first mini vacation to palm springs without eep this weekend! it was our first time away from him so we cut our trip short because we missed his sweet little face so much but we still packed in a lot of fun! as soon as we arrived to our hotel, we were greeted with a bottle of champagne from my husbands business partner so we popped it open and spent the rest of the day lounging by the pool! then we went to a fabulous dinner and i was excited to wear my new rodarte lace dress from the go int’l designer collective for target. i ended up buying FIVE of the dresses (more on those later)! saturday was spent relaxing at the spa. it was a great weekend. what did YOU do? we aren’t the only ones who came home early on their first time away from their baby right? RIGHT? =)

p.s. my husband hates taking pics and has banned me from posting any of him on the internet! one of these days i will try to sneak one in for you =)

p.s.s. i meant to change my nail polish when we got there but we were having so much fun that i forgot i was still rockin the st pattys day green nails. oops.

That sounds like soooo much fun! I bet you had an amazing weather too, oh how I’d love to lounge by a pool right now!!! 5 dresses? Haha… cannot judge… I found a place which sells Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent dresses at the fraction of their original prices and oh well… I bough 4 (plus a jumper so that makes it 5! :D)
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Aah, the adult vacation sounds so wonderful. You look beautiful in both your outfits. Your hubby is funny with the ‘no photos’ rule.
I can’t wait to see what other dresses you got from Target’s collection. I contemplated a few but didn’t buy any yet.

What hotel did you stay at? I’m sorry if you said that already, I didn’t catch it. And I can’t wait to see which dresses you got! I decided not to get any of them because I’m currently saving for my world travels. But I do like to live vicariously through blogs 🙂

The neutral/deep brown/black combo looks great on you! So sophisticated 🙂
