Today I am excited to announce that I’ve teamed up with three stylish moms for a new weekly fashion link-up! Every Wednesday, Vera, Audrey, Megan and I will be sharing an #ootd (outfit of the day) and you can join in on the fun by sharing your favorite look using the link-up tool below. For our first link-up we are each sharing a look from Lands’ End‘s new Spring arrivals. I was immediately drawn to these striped chino shorts and this red blazer. The nautical trend (Can I call it a trend? It’s more of a classic, I think.) is definitely one of my favorites! Oh, and I’m just going to go ahead and apologize now for my blinding white legs. You would think with all of the nice weather we’ve been having that I’d have a little color by now! Oh well, at least it’s warm enough for shorts so I can’t complain! I hope you guys enjoy the new feature.

POSHMARK

One of the first blogs I ever followed was Cupcakes & Cashmere. I wish I could remember how I even stumbled across fashion blogs because at the time I was SO not into fashion. I had just had my son and was having the hardest time getting the pregnancy weight off. About the same time, I came across Kendi Everyday who used to host a 30 for 30 challenge where you would style thirty items of clothing for thirty days. And since I could barely squeeze into any of my clothes, I was lucky to find thirty things to style anyway. I know you are probably thinking what does this all have to do with shopping your closet. Well, one of the things that I LOVED the most about these blogs was that they would share links to the clothes they wore and I was THRILLED to be able buy the same things these stylish ladies were wearing. It was honestly like having a personal stylist. Now 4+ years later, here I am still kind of shocked that I ever started a blog and even more SHOCKED that I still love it as much as I do. But I digress. I ALWAYS try to link to items for you guys so you can shop the items I am wearing but many times things sell out and are no longer available. So shopping my Poshmark closet is a great way to snag those items. I’ve tried a few websites over the years to sell my clothing and Poshmark has by far has been THE EASIEST site to use. All you have to do is download the app to your smartphone OR simply create an account online and you can start shopping millions of closets in an instant. Ok, I don’t know if there are technically a million closets on Poshmark, but it is definitely a GREAT way to shop your favorite brands at GREAT prices. Many of the items I have listed have been worn only once or twice and are literally like new. And if you have items to sell yourself, it is so easy to just snap a pic with your phone and upload it with just a few easy steps! Oh, and before I forget…I am actually HOSTING a Poshmark Party this Tuesday, March 10th at 7pm PST so after you sign up, be sure to follow me and join in on the fun! The theme will be “flirty & feminine”  so get ready to shop tons of cute dresses (some of which are shown above)!

*Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post and these are my honest opinions. I’ve been a Posher since April 2013 and am thrilled to share Poshmark with you!

Anthropologie Flares

I walked into Anthropologie last week on a mission to find the perfect pair of distressed skinny jeans. So naturally I came home with a pair of flares instead. I couldn’t resist the front pockets and the high rise waist on these. Whoever invented high-waisted pants must’ve been a mom. Just sayin’. Oh, and they have a lot of stretch to them so I ended up going down a size. If you’ve been looking to add a pair of flares to your closet this Spring, I highly recommend these!

I’m not sure how I ended up wearing denim on denim twice in one week. Oh yes I do…I pulled this skirt out trying to decide if I should take it in to get it hemmed or not (?) and somehow ended up wearing it. It feels like a very awkward length on me….like I might as well be wearing this. I also have the vision of Justin & Britney in all denim everything forever ingrained in my mind. Not exactly the look I was going for. =)
