Can I just tell you how I excited I am about wide leg pants being back in style? I worked at Wet Seal back in the early 90’s when “palazzo pants” were a thing. I swore I would never wear them again. Well, here I am again…eating crow. I am OBSESSED with these pants. The only way they could be better would be if they had pockets. I may never take them off.

Gap Factory 1

It’s been a while since I’ve done a “two ways to wear” feature so I was super excited when Gap Factory asked me if I would like to try out their new “slim city pants” to showcase their versatility. So today I am sharing an office friendly look as well as a more relaxed weekend look. The slim city pants come in several solid colors but I was immediately drawn to this cute printed pair. Normally I would reach for a classic white button down for the office but I went a little bolder and decided to do a little print mixing! And for my weekend look, I cuffed them and did a little light layering by pairing them with a denim jacket and my favorite sandals. Not only are these pants comfy enough to chase my four year old around in (which I did right after I snapped my weekend look) but they are also flattering on and perfectly chic for the office. The slim city pants are less than $40 but you can get an additional 15% off your purchase with code SlimCityPa (excluding clearance) in the US & Canada (in-store only through 04/12/15). Find a Gap Factory near you by clicking here. And be sure to let me know in the comments which look is your fave!

Is there anything better than a dress that is so comfy, you could wear it all day and then seriously consider wearing it to bed after? This dress definitely lives up to it’s name…that’s for sure! COMFY. Pretty sure it is going to be one of my summer staples. I don’t know about you guys…but time seems to be flying by as of late. It was a busy weekend with Easter festivities, a BBQ with the fam and a 40th birthday celebration for one of my besties. You know the saying you need a vacation after your vacation? I kind of feel like I need a weekend after just having a weekend. Happy Monday friends!

Hale Bob Romper

Hale Bob Romper

Hale Bob Romper

As I mentioned here, we were in Palm Springs this past weekend for opening night of El Paseo Fashion Week. After our big night out, we spent the next day sleeping in, having breakfast at my favorite breakfast place, getting massages and then had a nice casual night out on the town. BTW, this romper was MEANT to be worn in Palm Springs if you ask me. The print is fabulous…it has a drawstring waist (to hide the GINORMOUS amounts of food/drinks I consume whenever I’m there)…AND it has pockets. SO good.

P.S. If rompers aren’t your thing but you love the print, you are in luck because Hale Bob also has THREE different styles of dresses and a top in this exact print.
