Last week I was killing time before picking eep up from school and decided to stop by my fave local clothing boutique. I hadn’t been in a while so I was like a kid in a candy store browsing all of the new arrivals. But just as I was walking into the fitting room, I caught a glimpse of this dress on a mannequin and it was love at first sight! Not only is the print amazing, but I love the button-up back and especially love the high neckline. Plus, it was perfect for a blogger event that I attended last week (more on that coming to the blog soon!). So, yeah, it was definitely meant to be for me and this dress.

Brrrrrrrr! It was FUH-REEZING yesterday. Ok, so it was 63 but it was SO windy that my bones hurt. It also probably wasn’t a good idea to buy a smoothie to drink while grocery shopping in our arctic blast of a grocery store. I’ve never been a bath person but I was ready to draw myself a bath yesterday. Or sit IN the fireplace. How DID I ever make it in NYC? Oh yeah, I lived in my North Face down coat. I’m about to bust that jacket out. Just sayin.

Well, my son was sick all last week and unfortunately now it’s my turn. Thankfully I didn’t get the upset stomach like he did, but I do forget every year how miserable a cold can be! But pretty much nothing will stop me from missing a hair appointment though. Back to my “Kate plus 8” haircut as my husband calls it. LOL.
