I’ve dubbed this dress the Spring Break dress. But to be honest, the actual name…the Everyday Dress…is even better. Because once you wear this dress, you will want to wear it everyday! The comfy factor is a 10. I don’t normally wear anything remotely bodycon, but the side ruching on this skirt is super flattering so totally wearable in my book. Hopefully cabi brings this dress back in other colors. And the Beachcomber Hoodie is the perfect Summer cardi.

I bought this dress last year on sale and never got around to wearing it until now. So thank goodness I am still off-the-shouder obsessed. I haven’t fallen in love with a particular style since the “peplum top” days. If you’ve been following my blog for several years then you prob remember the peplum obsession. =) And you get extra credit points if you remember the bubble necklace. Ahhhh the bubble necklace…I think that was the first accessory to be dubbed a “blogger” accessory. EVERYONE wore them. Including me…check out this post from 2012. You’re welcome. P.S. I don’t know about you but I am a sucker for all things nautical! And the knot cami & skipper pants from cabi’s new Yacht Cruise Collection are adorable together or as separates. I also am having a moment with the color yellow. My last three purchases have been in varying shades of yellow. Mustard, pale yellow and neon…yes, neon yellow! I don’t know what the pantone color of the year is…but it should be yellow if you ask me! =)

Happy April! But seriously…how is it already April?!?! It seems like we had the longest Winter ever but I gotta tell ya that Spring has come on strong and I am VERY happy about it. The flowers are in major bloom from all the rain we had. People are driving out to the desert to take pics with the poppies but I keep seeing wildflowers on the side of the roads/freeways that are so pretty I’ve thought about a photo shoot right there on the freeway off ramp…lol. In other good news, cabi just released their new arrivals (check out the Yacht Cruise Collection here) and I already found my Easter dress in the Aurora dress! I am obsessed with the crisscross/halter neckline.
