Weekly Linkup

Floral Fluted Skirt

Deux Lux Fringe Clutch

Swirl Boutique Tank Top

Justfab Lace-up Heels

Have any of you guys watched Orange is the New Black? We JUST started the first season and episodes 1-3 sucked us right in. But we’ve heard from a few people now that season two is a let down?! Did you watch? Thoughts?!? We hadn’t used our Apple TV in forever and I finally did the software upgrade (which took SEVEN friggen hours!) so we’re finally catching up on our Netflix series. Before we started OITNB, we gave Parenthood a try but quit after two shows. I’ve heard it’s supposed to be good but it just seemd a little too Seventh Heaven-y or something. I never even watched Seventh Heaven but I imagine it was a lot like Parenthood. LOL.

Outfit Details:
Black Tank via Swirl Boutique (only $18!)
Ladakh Floral Skirt (sold out)
Sandals c/o Justfab
Deux Lux Fringe Clutch
Madewell Bracelet
Nameplate Necklace c/o Teressa Lane Jewelry

P.S. It’s Linkup Wednesday! Be sure and link up your fashion related post below! All I ask is that you please link back to The Stylish Housewife. I can’t wait to see what you’re wearing!

I love OITNB! I am still finishing season 3. Personally, I think the story seems to get old after awhile but I am still enjoying it.

Cute skirt! I haven’t watched OITNB but everyone says it’s really good. I watched Seventh Heaven as a teen although it was a little hokey, I haven’t watched Parenthood though.

The neckline on this blouse is so cool! I love the little A line skirt with it too.

I’ve never watched OITNB, but my husband and I did get sucked into watching the entire first season of Grace & Frankie on Netflix, which is fabulous BTW. I love the top! The strap details are super cute…and the sandals are perfect.

We’re watching Parenthood now and love it! I think once you get further into the story, you start liking the characters more and want to see what happens with them. I’ve never compared it to 7th Heaven, but I kind of see your point. I think it’s more like Gilmore Girls, personally! And that’s not just because Lauren Graham plays a Lorelai 2.0. haha
