Tog & Porter Draped Blazer

Have you ever dreamed of having a personal stylist? I get to play stylist to my friends/family quite often but sometimes I wish someone could just pull outfits for me so I don’t have to stare at my own closet thinking “I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR”. I’ve never been one to plan an outfit in advance so usually I end up stressing last minute with all of my clothes in piles on the floor. Which is also why I tend to wear things the same exact way so I don’t have to think too much about what to wear each day. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a set of fresh eyes to help you remix your wardrobe and/or find the pieces you are missing in your closet? Well, today I want to re-introduce you to Tog+Porter. I tried their styling services a few years ago (see the post here) and truly had a great experience. The blazer above was one of the items my stylist chose for me and years later, it is still a staple in my closet.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

Tog + Porter

It really is as easy as 1-2-3. And the BEST thing about Tog+Porter is that their services are completely free. All you do is give them your budget (min is $250 up to $1500) and you keep what you want and send the rest back! So whether you need full-on styling or just help finding the key pieces that are missing in your wardrobe, Tog+Porter can help.

Today I am excited to share that Tog+Porter is giving one Stylish Housewife reader a $100 gift certificate to use toward your styling session. All you have to do to enter to win is take a peek at their new short film “The Perfect Day” (if you can’t see the video above, you can click here) and leave a comment here on this blog post telling me what you need more/less of in your closet. I promise you the video will leave you feeling inspired. Thank you for reading & good luck!

P.S. Tog+Porter is running a “Spread the Love” campaign for the month of February. All deliveries shipped in February will include a special gift for you & a friend!

*Please note: You must be 18 years old and a US resident to win. Contest ends 02/10/14 at 9pm PST.

I would LOVE to have some more exciting accessories that could add something more interesting to my wardrobe! I have a very classic/preppy and tend to buy a lot of similar pieces.

What an interesting video! It was a lil mini story of her perfectionism to letting go and showed through her clothing and cafe. Would love to win, haven’t been able to refresh my wardrobe in a long time!

I love this video and really enjoyed the overall message. I would love to have less things that I never wear in my closet. I feel like I hold onto a lot of clothing that I never wear. Hopefully this will be the year I donate it all. Thank you for sharing the video!

What a cute video!!! Love how she broke out of her routine! Fashion is about taking risks after all. I guess what I need in my closet right now is color. I tend to stick to black, my closet is filled with a sea of black clothing lol. I need some vibrant color, maybe even pastels which I have been afraid to try. But I’m willing to try something new this year 🙂

I am clearing out my closet of a lot of old shirts (read: way out of style) and really need to find fun shirts for the spring and summer! Thanks for introducing me to the service!

I’m in need of more basic essential pieces that can be mixed and matched…trying to pare down the wardrobe and simplify. Now if they could also find pieces that hide the postpartum belly (3 months) that would be even better!

Currently doing soul searching and fashion style searching. That is how I recently discovered your blog. I started teaching at a university last week, after a 7 years hiatus. 7 years in which “change” was the only constant.
I left my job as a corporate attorney in my country, where I though I knew it all and though I had found my fashion style.
Then I became a wife, moved to the U.S., became a mother twice, learnt English, became a homeowner, a “professional volunteer” in my county, became a student again, this time English was the language of my training and since last week I have the opportunity to serve as teacher.
I do not want to be only an instructor of knowledge, I want to inspire and empower my students. Never been a teacher before, in the U.S., nor in my country. So sometimes it is hard for me to feel confident that I am appropriately dressed for all my roles. I am (or attempt to be) as many other women and sometimes at the same time 1) a smart and approachable professor; 2) a hands on and put together mother/driver; 3) a stylish and fun spouse; 4) a relaxed and fashionable friend; 5) a role model; 5) etc, etc. My closet needs to help me achieve my goals and thrive!

I would love to have items that I can dress up for work and dress down for the weekend. Modest, but fun and trendy. Thanks for the chance to win!

I have never been much of a fashionista, preferring to hide in the background. However a recent promotion has neccessitated I look at how I am presenting myself. While my look has grown up, I still feel like I am missing the bulls-eye. I’m clueless and need help.

I definitely need more cute everyday wear and skinny pants – most of mine are still wide leg flares. Love this idea! Cool video!

I need better pants in my wardrobe. I struggle with finding pants that fit well, wash well, and maintain their shape during the day. // thanks for the chance!
