graphic sweatshirt

I snapped these pics just as I was heading out the door to get a little more Christmas shopping done. I don’t know about you but I sure am glad that graphic print sweatshirts are in style because I could not have been more comfy. In other news, we just started watching Breaking Bad last night and I have to say I am not sure what all of the hype is about. It’s pretty predictable and some of the acting is just flat out bad. We waited weeks to get the first season on Netflix (it was back-ordered forever after it won all of the awards) so I’m hoping it gets better. I mean, according to Wikipedia it is considered one of the greatest television series of all time. Did you watch the show???

Oh my gosh, I love Breaking Bad! I started watching it at the beginning of the hype and I’m pretty sure it’s Netflix’s fault. So many people who love the show binge watch it – one day I probably watched 10 episodes (waste of life? possibly… but totally worth it). It’s definitely slow at the beginning and if it wasn’t for my boyfriend insisting me to stick with it, I would have been sitting right there with you. But my parents, co-workers, and friends who had they same thoughts as you and I are all hooked too. Give it a little more time… and when you get to the fly episode, have things to do while watching because that one is pretty slow. I promise the general population isn’t drinking some Vince Gilligan Kool-Aid!

How cute & fun is this sweatshirt – pretty sure I need it!

We were just debating starting that show over Christmas break too, but I’m worried it might be ruined for us because of all the “amazing” hype. I think we are going to try HomeLand instead, but let me know if it gets better!

The show is seriously the most incredible series I have ever watched. Hopefully, it won’t take long before you get into to and then you will be hooked. I watched 3 seasons in around a week and a half and I was so caught up in, I didn’t want to leave my house. You will have to let us know if your thoughts change.

Breaking Bad starts off pretty slowly but it grows exponentially (the inflection point is probably somewhere in the middle of season 2 after he meets saul and gus). Everything that’s going on now might seem inane and pointless but every detail is part of a meticulously crafted narrative. Like Jessica said, once Walter’s metamorphosis starts to chrystalize you won’t be able to stop watching
