It’s day six of Blogtember.

Today’s writing prompt: “Describe a distinct moment when your life took a turn”.

When I was 30 years old, I quit my job and moved to NYC without knowing a single person or having a job lined up. This is my story.

    Wow! That is quite a story! I admire your reckless spontaneity : ) It was bold, but it seems like an incredible adventure!

    What a brave move! I love hearing stories of people following their hearts and dreams, even when it’s scary and not on paper the “right” choice.

    And the way you phrased it up there made me feel like I was listening to a Law and Order opener. And I LOVE Law and Order. 🙂

    A life adventure that I’m sure many of us wish we had been able to have the nerve to take!

    I’m from a small midwest town, had multiple interviews via telephone with a company in Fresno not long after I graduated from college. I was all set to go but nothing ever came of it.
