it has been really blustery and cloudy the past few days so not only was my hair a mess in 99.9% of my pics but the flash made it look like my blues don’t match. oh well…what are ya gonna do? =)

so i’m just curious how many hours of sleep you guys get each night? i usually don’t get to sleep until midnight and then i wake at 6am. i would love to get a full 8 hours but it just never happens that way. i think i do my best work between 10pm-midnight when everyone else is asleep anyways. or it could just be that i am delirious & not making sense but i’m just too tired to care. lol.

outfit details:
collective concepts draped blazer c/o tog & porter
loft navy tank (super old)
paige skinnies
nine west wedges
sausalito clutch c/o tailor & stylist
nordstrom necklace (old)
michael kors runway watch

I would LOVE 8 hours of sleep, but as a mommy to a 2 year old, the only “mommy” time I have is at night when he’s sleeping. I usually go to bed around 2/2:30 and wake up around 8. I’m used to it now, but what I’d give to just sleep in until 1 or 2 pm one day!

Love this look! Thanks for sharing!

I love that outfit! Sophisticated and simple but the contrast of colors and the gold jewelry is stunning.

I absolutely love this style! Casual jeans plus elegant shirt and blazer and fabulous accessories. The colour combination is very chic too.

Usually I only get 6hrs during the week but definitely need 8! I am an early bird but need to go to bed earlier…

BTW, I think your hair is fabulous.

I usually need to get seven-to-eight hours of sleep or I’m feeling it the next day. My days of surviving on little sleep are apparently behind me. I love your blazer with your outfit!

I found your blog on What I Wore Wednesday, and I am your newest follower! Feel free to follow back if you want.

I got a lot more sleep before I started blogging (I am quite sure you can relate!). I do a lot of my work in the morning before everybody else gets up! It’s a lot of work, but I hop out of bed to do it! 🙂

That’s a really cute clutch…love the stripes & wood handle!

I too wish I could get a full 8 hours of sleep, but it just never seems to happen. Thank God for coffee, right?!

    Love the blaze!
As for sleep, I average 6 hours per night (midnight to 6AM). I tend to blog and catch up on my reading (I am a reading addict) at night and my two year old tends to wake up around 6pm. Before I had kids, I would sleep as late as possible in the morning, but that isn’t really possible anymore!!!

Luckily I’m basically a sleepy person….I’m in bed no later than 930 LOL…..so I have to squeeze in blogging during the day! I love the color & the drape of the blazer!

I get about 8 but sometimes it doesn’t feel like enough. Maybe I think since I had kids no amount of sleep is enough. Ha ha! I love this look. Classy and cute. Love your clutch too.

This is one of my favorite outfits of yours to date…not sure why, but I like how classic/neutral and slightly nautical it is while staying interesting with textures and layers!

Such a cute and well put together look, Jenn! I hate when the flash makes colors look differently, ugh!! And what are you talking about your hair looks bad? Crazy… your hair looks great! As for sleep… I wish I could survive on a little sleep. I swear if I get less than 8-10 hours a night, I am a zombie the next day. I hope I can train myself to go with less, but for the last 29 (wink, wink) years, it hasn’t worked!

I thought the ‘unmatched’ blues look great together!! LOve the jacket too!
Tell me about sleep deficiency!! Every morning I promise myself to sleep before 11 PM in the night but by them time I am done with the day’s ‘to-do stuff’ and all things that go with mothering a 6 year old, the night time is the only time I am left with for blog! So, sleep takes a back seat..well..I can always sleep late tomorrow..Not!:-)
Hope you have a wonderful day!

One of my goals this year was to get between 7 – 9 hours of sleep per night. I have quite a busy schedule but for some reason feel energized the later it is, lol. I normally get 7 hours of sleep each night.

The amount of sleep I get totally changes every day. Anywhere between 4 and 9 hours a night. I work different shifts each day so it’s hard to get into a routine!
