as promised, here is a more detailed recap of my second time attending luckyfabb. you can read the first post here.

LuckyFABB Aloxxi Event

kelly osbourne luckyfabb

the fabulous kelly osbourne and brandon holley (editor in chief of lucky magazine) kicked off the conference. i love kelly….she is just gorgeous and is not afraid to speak her mind. the two trends she would like to see go away? ombre hair and mullet dresses.

cupcakes & cashmere

the bloggers choice panel, “the business of blogging” featured geri of because i’m addicted and emily of cupcakes and cashmere. geri’s number one tip to success is to “be happy every single day with what you are doing”. and it is so true…blogging is a total labor of love. most of my friends have NO IDEA how much work goes into my blog. the hours of “work” it takes to be my own stylist, photographer, editor, writer, etc. but the truth is….i wouldn’t be doing it if i didn’t love it. another one of the panels was “the tools you need to grow your business”. and my fave advice came from one of the founders of fohrcard, mr. james nord. he said, “don’t have brands pay for your traffic, have them pay for YOU”.

luckyfabb west 2013

kimberly, me, bethany and nikki posing for the camera at the day one after-party! it was so much fun to finally meet some of my blogger friends in real life! {image via}

flower beauty

the day one after-party was hosted by drew barrymore herself and we got to test out beauty products from her new make-up line “flower” (available exclusively at wal-mart believe it or not).

luckyfabb breakout sessionss

day two of luckyfabb included breakout sessions and brand experiences. we attended workshops that included “how to pitch brands”, “growing your traffic”, “new ways to monetize” and even got “beauty tips from the pros”. as much as i loved the first days panels, these smaller groups felt much more targeted towards the blogger with a few years under their belts.

justfab brand experience

my first stop at the brand experiences was of course, justfab! btw, i wore my pink justfab heels on day two of luckyfabb and made lucky magazines best dressed list. yay!

julie vos

i fell in love with the julie vos jewelry line. the mint pendant seen above came home with me!

lesportsac dylans candy bar

lesportsac collaborated with dylan’s candy bar for their fall 2013 line and we were treated to milkshakes and all of the candy you could ever want! and just like last year, we were sent home with the most amazing lesportsac swagbag ever. it deserves it’s own post…so stay tuned as i will also be giving away some of the goodies from my bag. xo

    I might have to hurt you for that first picture – notice how I have the huge spotlight shining on me & am all washed out while the rest of you look lovely 🙁

    It was so fun to see you again! You look terrific as always! Yes, the swagbag was ridiculous, but I am already elbow deep in my new beauty routine. 🙂 I loved James Nord, he was just the cutest!
