Glossybox Man Repeller

Man Repeller for Glossybox

as soon as i heard that leandra from the man repeller was collaborating with glossybox, i could NOT wait for it to arrive! and it did not disappoint. i even read the glossymag from front to back this time. =) the theme this month was a “winter survival kit” that included some of leandra’s fave products. here is what i got:

vincent longo lipstain SPF 15 lipstick: i used to think i liked matte lipstick but i think the older i get, glossy lipsticks are the way to go. it seems to bleed less (for me anyway).  btw, my husband agrees that red lipstick is totally a man repeller. lol.

estee lauder sumptuous extreme lash multiplying volume mascara: i was most excited about this mascara. if i could only choose one makeup product to wear, i think it would have to be mascara! i rarely buy anything but drugstore mascara so this is a real treat.

narcisco rodriguez for her perfume: you guessed it…not a fan. lol.

living proof prime style extender: i am REALLY excited to try this out, especially now that i know that jennifer aniston is part owner of living proof (always love her hair). i’ve never used a primer for my hair (other than leave-in conditioners and heat defenders).

le metier de beaute replenishing daily solution: i haven’t tried this yet but for $225/jar, i’m expecting miracles. =)

fresh umbrian clay mattifying serum: i am a fan of fresh products and really liked this serum. i have a very oily t-zone so whenever i get a product that reduces shine…i am ecstatic. it had a pretty strong scent (almost cucumber-ish) but goes away when it dries. so far, i like it!

OPI liquid sand (in “can’t let go”): when i first saw this polish i was like….”meh…a little too purple rain for me”. and then i read that it was a matte polish. and thought even more that i wouldn’t like it. and then i put two coats on. and i LOVED the texture. it almost looks like a caviar mani. and now i am off to buy liquid sand polish in EVERY color.

for those of you who don’t know, glossybox is a monthly subscription service that offers a curated box of 5 deluxe products for $21/mo. to sign up or learn more about the products included in this months box, click here.

disclosure: i received this box c/o glossybox. as always, all opinions are my own.

That box looks awesome- I wish that we had Glossybox in Canada!
We so have Topbox and Glymm, which are pretty awesome though.

Luv the bright red color of the lipstick. If Icould only pick one makeup product to wear, it would be mascara too. Estee lauder sumptuous extreme lash multiplying volume mascara, sounds like a real treat!
