ootd: golden

i’m wearing: tatum top c/o alice & trixie, seven jeans, rachel zoe vest, michael kors watch, michael kors grayson satchel, star ling heels, and the luxe circle crystal necklace is c/o t+j designs.

i know what you’re thinking….JEANS two days in a row?!?! the sun may be trying to come out but it has been too cold for dresses lately. but i can’t wait to pair this golden mustard blouse with hot pink for spring. lol…if you can’t tell by my blog design, i kind of love the combo. =) so i just watched an episode of “girls” for the first time. it was on as a freebie preview for hbo on some random channel. i had to watch and see what all of the fuss was about since it won so many awards. to be honest…after seeing one episode, i’m probably not going to call my cable company and add hbo any time soon. i mean, i can see why people like it but when it ended, i just found myself feeling thankful i am old(er) and married. have you guys seen the show? what do you think…love it or leave it?

You look amazing in mustard and this blouse is gorgeous – you were definitely channeling Rachel Zoe for this one 🙂

We don’t have HBO either, so I kept wondering what all the hype was about too…glad to know I’m not missing anything!

Have not seen it. I don’t think I can add another show to my repertoire. This is such fun, retro look. I love it!

Such a pretty shirt! I wore a similar one yesterday, but mine was orange. I love this shape.

As for girls, I’ve heard a lot of people say that they didn’t like the show at first, but they liked it a lot more at the end of season 1 and the beginning of season 2…I though it was kind of weird and awkward at first too. haha

Love that color on you and I’m loving the jeans posts since that’s pretty much what I wear all the time. I’ve never seen Girls, but I kind of want to watch an episode now after your comment just to see what it’s all about.

I gave up on girls after the first few episodes. I admired what they were trying to do with the series but I actually couldn’t identify with a lot of it (that may say more about me than the show though ek!)

Yellow of any shade is something I definitely associate with your blog. I always used to think that yellow only looked good on blondes, but I did change my mind about this last summer after investing in a couple of pieces! Mustard is a lovely colour this time of year, it makes me hopeful for spring and warmth… you really do wear it so well 🙂
