i’m wearing: jcrew chambray top, rachel zoe faux fur vest (similar), no name belt, parker heels c/o ann taylor, necklace c/o linzgutz.

i bought this vest last year on qvc of all places solely because it was by rachel zoe. it is pretty bulky and i feel a little like the abominable snowman but i just love the color of it so much. my husband calls it my coyote vest?!?!  i am thinking i may need to invest in something a little more tailored/fitted. or maybe i will just try wearing my fur collars more often. btw….speaking of rachel zoe…has anyone heard when the rachel zoe project season five is starting??? i haven’t seen hide nor hair about it since fashion week.

Don’t you just love men? Sigh, that sounds so much like something my boyfriend would say. Rachel Zoe’s line is amazing and I have yet to find something of hers that I don’t like.

Haha! Coyote vest??? It’s way prettier than a coyote but that made me laugh.

I’m dying for Rachel Zoe to come back too! Her sidekick Joey runs a salon in my town and I’m always stalking it to see if she’s in there!

Why don’t you just take the vest to a tailor and have it trimmed down a bit? 😉

I totally love the vest. Don’t think it looks too big at all.

Keep an eye out on my blog later today. I’ll be featuring this as one of the looks I love today.

I have a RZ bracelet that I ordered from QVC and I definitely got sucked in by her name too! haha I haven’t even gotten around to blogging it in an outfit yet! I love this vest though. She has the best luxurious pieces. And fur vests are amazing in the Ohio winter where I live!
I wish I had an office job so I could wear an outfit like this everyday, but i guess college classes aren’t the best place for fur and heels. You are such a stylish mommy though!

I think it’s so cute! How funny that he calls it a coyote vest, men are so funny when they talk about fashion. my boyfriend asked me recently why i wasn’t having arm parties any longer!

lol! i bought a fake fur coat recently. it was hUGE! but so soft! i really wanted to keep it, but it porked me up like nobody’s business. and i don’t need any extra bulk, thank you very much! BUT IT WAS SO SOFT. i’d be lying if i didn’t tell you that i have thought about it repeatedly! SO SOFT!!!!

rachel zoe is crazy. and i must be crazy because i enjoyed watching her show — even tho it stressed me out. not sure if it will come back!

coyote vest. HAHAHAHAHH! that is a step above roadkill. shame on your husband!

I think you are too little for that vest, you might want to have it shortened (cropped) to where the belt is, take the extra and make a clutch and/or cuffs to go around the tops of your boots, or a hat or a pillow….?

“Hide nor hair”…haha – you sound like my mom! 🙂 I love the faux fur vest trend, but had the same bulk problem with alot of them I tried on. I decided to go with one that was knit (like a sweater) on the back, so just the front is “fluffy” and it’s a leaner fit for layering.
