for this week’s mani i used deborah lippmann’s “modern love” for the base and color club’s “put a pin in it” for the accent nails. before i started this blog, i probably had about five polishes to my name. one of them was “dulce de leche” by opi which was the ONLY color i used to paint my toes. “modern love” is very similar to it which makes it one of my new faves. one of my bloggy friends actually covered the  nyfw backstage beauty at badgley mischka spring 2013 and “modern love” is the color that deborah lippmann herself chose for the show (noting that mauve is the new nude)! i feel so on top of my nail polish game…ha ha!

p.s. i almost forgot, i have the konad nail stamp kit which i used to create my nail designs. but as you can see i used a regular nail polish for the design so you could totally get away with just buying this and any image plate you wish.

Gorgeous – love the neutrals and how the design is subtle. I have Dulce De Leche and haven’t used it in ages…might have to pull mine out now! 🙂

I love this! The design is so subtle and pretty. I should try a little more in the nail department. I am doing good to slap a coat on at night before bed…
