i’m wearing: velvet heart blouse (similar with leather accents or this modcloth tunic is super cute too) and kooba bag are nordstrom rack finds, loft zebra swirl skirt (last seen here) and nine west pumps (similar). nail polish is plum seduction by revlon.

yesterday i showed you what a typical casual day outfit is for me. today i thought i would share a little more of a fun business/casual look. i rarely dress this business-y since i no longer work in an office environment but i thought my readers who do might like a little outfit inspiration too! =) i bought these pieces separately envisioning the blouse with my faux leather leggings and the skirt as a perfect date-night mini. i probably would have worn the skirt with a black blazer and/or with opaque tights since my office was a little more conservative but this is how i would have wanted to wear it!

    Jen,
The reviews on http://www.theloft.com say this dress wrinkles easy. Did you find that to be a problem. Also, are they pretty true to size?

I’d wear it to work, only problem is I now work at a home office so even though I look cute no one sees me. I refuse to wear sweat pants everyday so I”m the most over dressed homebody ever.

I was tempted to get this skirt along with the dress but then decided I really didn’t need two pieces. I love this look Jen, and your not missing out on the office πŸ˜‰

This is similar to some of my psychologist outfits. (Although as you know me I’d probably drop the print for a plainer skirt lol) I really like the contrasting colours on the blouse. All of a sudden my plain J Crew silk shirts look pretty boring Jenn!
