by now you guys know that i am a HUGE birchbox fan. but what you may not know is that birchbox also offers boxes curated just for MEN! when birchbox offered to send my husband a box, i’m not sure who was more excited…me or him. we actually fought over who was going to open it when it arrived. i won. =) here’s what he got:

rumbatime GO enabled vandam watch (no longer available on the birchbox site but they do have the perry and delancey models available): my husband was pretty excited when he saw that he got a WATCH in his box. this watch is valued at approx $35. each watch has a unique VITAnumber that is linked to your personal info, emergency contact info and health info. for $14.95/year you can also sign up for digital cashless payment and link it to your bank account to use it at any point of sale location with just a wave of your watch! pretty fancy stuff. my hubby will most likely just use it when he goes mountain biking but it’s still pretty cool. oh, and fyi…i did a quick search just to see who accepted this as payment and there were over 100 vendors in my zipcode so WAY more than i thought.

kerastase homme capital force shampoo for men: i think he got more excited when i told him this was a really good shampoo. his response after he used it was that he liked the smell (very spa-like) and that he preferred it over the “crew” shampoo he normally uses. i guess that is a thumbs up as well.

anthony logistics glycolic facewash for men: let me preface this with…my husband washes his face with good ol’ “irish spring”. and i swear to you he has less wrinkles and probably nicer skin than me (of course). he wasn’t overly excited about the face wash at all. clearly he doesn’t know how fab glycolic washes are…lol. wonder if i can use it…ha ha.

john varvatos star usa cologne: oddly enough, neither my husband or i are big perfume/cologne fans but he actually really liked this cologne and has been wearing it daily since he got it.

birchbox for men is slightly more expensive than the women’s boxes at $20/mo. but i think this would be a great gift idea for the hubbys/boyfriends/dad/bros that you never know what to buy for!!! my hubby may even end up with a subscription in his xmas stocking this year!

*disclaimer-my husband was sent this box free of charge but as you know i am a paying monthly subscriber to birchbox. now “WE” are both big fans. =)

I’ve seen the Tweets related to men’s birchbox and it looks like a good assortment, and the jelly watch is awesome. I love your blue drop waist dress! Can’t wait to see you feature it again.

I love the idea of Birchbox Man! Some male relatives will definitely be getting this under the Christmas tree this year!
