polka dot chambray and polka dot sweater

light wash western chambray blouse

elephant print popover blouse

paige skyline skinny jeans (storm grey)

dalmatian peplum tank (from h&m-check your local store) and animal print shorts (from loft-check your local store)

as you guys know, i am a stay at home mom so my son is with me everywhere i go. i’ve got shopping down to a science with him. and it’s pretty much….once the snacks run out…so does my running errands/shopping time. i always check store opening times and i’m sure to get there right when they open so that i can get as much done as possible before it is time to turn around and get ready for lunch/nap. this weekend my husband took eep to the beach so i could go clothes shopping all by myself. i am always amazed at how fast i can get out of the car and into a store when it’s just me. and then i missed my stroller that i normally throw my ridiculously  heavy purse into and hang all of my clothes from. and then i missed eep’s sweet face and all of our small talk. so as much as i enjoyed a little time alone…i loved even more coming home to my husband telling me that eep was asking for momma while she was gone.

Aww, I know what you mean – I always feel the same way, especially now that my daughter is getting older and actually wants to go shopping and try on clothes with me! Can’t wait to see how you style that peplum top – we can be twinsies 🙂

I completely know what you’re talking about! I have 2, and when they’re not shopping with me it feels so strange! But I’m able to get so much done!

It’s so nice to get out alone! I stopped taking my son shopping a long time ago. He started getting the ‘I’m bored to tears’ expression that his daddy gets when he’s shopping with me. It’s terrible taking either one of them shopping!! Ha ha!

What fun finds! Love the polka dots and great patterns. Hear ya about time alone to shop. I often can go by myself since my daughter is in school full-time but when she comes? ALL about the snacks, too, haha. Wishing she would stay in the stroller… never works anymore.

I can totally relate, sometimes I don’t know what to do with myself when I finally have time to do something alone. It’s like I have an arm missing or something!

Cute cute finds! I shop during lunch sometimes, and you’re right, being alone is great (efficient) but also weird. Honestly, I hardly shop! Anyways, of course eep missed you. It was nice of the hubby to let you go shop on your own. LOL on the “snack runs out, shopping time over”. I’m always one eye on the toddler, one eye on merchandise too. However, the benefit is that I’m focused and don’t walk away with a gajillions things I don’t need, like at Target 😉
