i was thrilled to find yet another glossybox in my mailbox this month! the july glossybox theme was “summer nights” and it did not disappoint. you can click here for a full description of the items in my box but i wanted to share my opinion on the items that i have already sampled.

i was most excited to see that the sebastian shampoo & conditioner was formulated specifically for highlighted/color treated hair. the conditioner comes out like a mousse so it was kind of strange but i will be throwing these in my toiletry bag for vacationing. i always like to have trial sizes on hand so i don’t have to take my full size bottles.

the packaging of this balm had me at hello. i would totally buy it at a store based purely on the packaging. lol. but it has a consistency of cream of wheat (my hubby laughed at me when i made the comparison). i jammed my finger in it expecting it to be solid but it is creamy-ish. smells nice though.

this was a a total SURPRISE FAVORITE. you guys know i am not a big perfume fan. and to be honest when i first saw this sample it reminded me of the old avon samples my grandma and mom used to always have around when i was little. but i absolutely loved this scent. and for some reason the towelette application seems fun to me…lol. i think i may buy a pack of them to keep in my purse!

glossybox is a monthly subscription service that sends at least five travel sized beauty products in a beautifully curated box for $21/month. they have also recently launched an online magazine with tons of beauty tips/advice/trends. to learn more about glossybox, click here. you can also follow glossybox on twitter and facebook.
*glossybox sent me this box free of charge with no obligation to share but you know how much i love show & tell…not to mention trying out new beauty products!

We always do our Glossybox posts back to back – mine is up tomorrow! I loved the balm too, but my daughter stole it from me! 🙁

The rouge’s packaging also would have had me at hello! Very vintage circus-y.

I will confess I still buy Avon from my mum back in England 🙂 I like your review of this box, the first time I’ve ever thought it might be a new idea to sign up for the products. Impressed they are doing fragrance, seems unique in a scheme like this?
