hi friends! today i am excited to introduce you to my friend amy from leopard & lillies! we decided it would be fun to do a favorite outfit  post blog exchange so today she is posting on my blog and i will be sharing on hers! i hope you love her style as much as i do!

Hello Stylish Housewife readers, my name is Amy and I’ve been a fan of Jenn’s for a while now.  I am extremely excited we are able to collaborate together and looking forward to sharing a few of my favorite posts.  My blog Leopard & Lillie’s talks about Fashion, Travel, Style and my life living in Dubai.  I’m originally from Florida and after school moved up to New York to work as a fashion buyer in the city.  Currently, I am an American expat who has been living overseas with my husband for three years now.

As a former New York City girl, I’ve had to make some adjustments to my wardrobe after moving here.  Although my boots may not come out till November or December, I still love fall clothing and make the most of transition pieces and fall like styling.  This dress looks great in the summer with wedges but also looks fabulous with boots.  Read more about more my bohemian style here.

I strongly believe a denim shirt is one of the most versatile pieces in any wardrobe and I will wear mine with just about anything.  I love the idea of pairing a rouged denim shirt with a dainty lace skirt.  Check out my Lacey Denim post here.

I have always had a difficult time finding the perfect LWD “Little White Dress”.  I never wanted it to be too short; I wanted it to be dressy yet casual.  When I spotted this dress at Zara I knew it had to be mine.  It fit all of my criteria for a LWD and more.   See the entire post here.

Living in Dubai allows my hubby, LJF as he’s called in my blog, and me to travel a lot!  In fact, it is the main reason we moved overseas.  A few months back we took a trip to Rwanda to go Gorilla Trekking in the jungle and it was by far one of my favorite trips we’ve taken.  After hiking for a number of hours you come to a gorilla family in the jungle.  Thankfully these are very gentle creatures.  Look at how close you get!  Read more about gorilla trekking in Rwanda and check out the little baby gorillas here.

As the weather starts to heat up in the summer our typically temperature is 100 degree to 120 degrees from June to September.  I’ve learned to love maxi skirts and maxi dresses as great staples in my closet.  This dress is one of my favorites because it can easily transition from day to evening with only a small change of accessories, however, it’s quiet difficult to put on.  See how long it takes me to get into this maxi dress here.

Feel free to check out my blog Leopard & Lillie’s and thanks Jenn for letting me introduce myself to your readers!   Much love from the sandbox, Amy

Wow, what an incredible pair of legs you have! I am envious, as I am only a couple inches over five foot. You are truly living a unique life as an American abroad, soak it up!
