one of my best friends (hi caroline) bought me this lip treatment for my bday and i am OBSESSED. it goes on like lipstick but feels very slick & light. it is a great happy warm coral color and is perfect for those days that you don’t want to do your makeup but need a swipe of color. i’m gonna warn you…it’s totally addicting.

remember how i told you guys that i started a whole new skincare routine? well, i am back to proactive. BUT…i am in LOVE with this glycolic acid (thanks to one of my other BFF’s alisa for introducing me to this one). it has really made a difference in my skin’s overall appearance. i HIGHLY recommend it.

i bought this alima powder brush from birchbox with my referral points and i LOVE it. it is SO soft and makes me feel like i am a pro at applying my makeup now (even though i SO am not).

i got this eye treatment from the p&g booth at lucky fabb and i am really liking it so far! most eye treatments leave my eyes feeling greasy or sticky  (which then makes my eye makeup apply weird). but this stuff dries nice and smooth! my hubby even said to me that i looked young today!!! hahahahahha…could have been what i was wearing…or he may just be trying to get on my good side…but i’ll take it! =)

i recently made the switch from just using pressed powder to now using liquid foundation. you can read my recent review on chanel’s vitalumiere aqua here, but i have since switched from it to chanel’s perfection lumiere. i fell in LOVE with vitalumier aqua but the color the gal used on me was discontinued so the new color did not match my skin as well. and to top it off, it was just too dewy on me by the end of the day. the perfection lumiere is a much better match for my skin type and i also top it off with a pressed powder (but now i use the alima brush instead of a sponge). i also picked up this fun bronzer that gives a perfect sun-kissed glow.

p.s.s. i am addicted to this guys youtube channel right now. in fact, it is the only one i subscribe to! he has the most amazing makeup tutorials! oh, how i wish he could be my friend and do my makeup for me!

Really love posts like this – totally going to buy that tinted lip balm and you know I’m always looking for a better eye cream (how did I not pick one of those up at the same time as you?!?)

Love this! I adore the sugar lip balm/lipstick and now I’m quite curious to check out the olay eye cream. Who doesn’t want to look a bit younger?? 🙂

Love receiving feedback on beauty products! Thanks, girl! I agree with you on the benefits of glycolic on the skin. I alternate a few glycolic products (cleanser, serum, and moisturizer) in my skincare routine. Great resurfacing benefits…bye bye acne 🙂 That Sugar lip treatment is on my radar!

I love love love the fresh “chapsticks”. At first I was like “Nope, no way I will spend $20+ on chapstick” but boy have I changed my mind. Plus they have the little sample sizes as your birthday present at Sephora. I’m so nervous they’ll run out of them before my birthday in September! Want.so.bad

Love to try the Olay eye treatment. As much as possible I love to use eye cream that absorbs quickly.:)
