for this manicure, i used “sand tropaz” by essie with “shifting power” by essie and “make u smile” silver glitter polish by nicole by OPI for the ring finger. i actually really liked this mani even though the nude polish was almost the same color as my skin. which is kind of weird, right? speaking of manicures, i am so excited to have been featured on parenting.com yesterday alongside a few of my favorite mom bloggers (read the full article here).

OMG – have I been writing your maiden name on all the things I sent you? I’m so sorry! I just went by what was on your gmail account…I feel so bad!! 🙁 Love this mani – I have been on the hunt for a good nude polish that is slightly darker than my skintone. Who knew it would be so hard to find?!

I love using nude polish and accenting the ring finger. Especially ones with a nice pop!! I love the polish I use too, it’s perfect! i can’t remember the name exactly but its Sephora brand and from the Ballet collection.

Congrats on the article as well! 🙂

love this mani! easy, yet so good {my favorite combo in manis, recipes, anything really lol}! i use sand tropez, even though it matches my skintone too lol, as the nude under a lot of my nail art and to showcase topcoat collections. my other fav nudes lately have been Did You Ear About Van Gogh, from OPIs spring holland collection and Sally Hansen Beige Blast.

I’ve only been reading your blog for a couple of months now, but the Manicure of the Week is definitely one of my favorite parts. Reading the Parenting tip was the first time I’ve noticed you mention that dry fast top coat. I’m going to Sally Beauty ASAP for a bottle of that because I totally HATE waiting for my polish to dry, especially when I paint my toes.

Thanks so much for sharing with us!

I am late in stopping by today! Congratulations on your feature!!! You should be proud of yourself and how you’ve turned Stylish Housewife into something meaningful! Your nails look fabulous as always, I am so ashamed of how mine look and in fact when I did nail of the week on sunday, I only painted my left hand! LOL…I think I provide your daily entertainment…see I may be heading for the AARP but I’ve not *yet* lost my edge 😉

I really like your manicure. I really wish I had the patience to give myself a manicure at home. You think I would since I have all of the stuff and then some…plus, I used to have my own business doing nails. Note to self: make time to sit, relax, and let my nails dry!
