all photos taken by me except the collage which are photos from instyle magazine.

i keep seeing headbands on all of the red carpet shows so i thought i would show you how i wear them in real life. my favorite way to wear them nowadays is in the first photo. i guess this would be called a “hippie headband”? i am not down with the lingo anymore so feel free to correct me youngsters! =) the second look is my signature messy bun. the beaded headband dresses up an otherwise simple look. and lastly, the bow is making a comeback as well. i am a bit old to pull off a big bow in my hair but for blogging sake, i threw in a pic of it too.

p.s. the headbands & bow in this post were provided by my sponsor sproos. sproos is graciously offering stylish housewife readers 20% off of your order with code STYLISH. how will you accessorize your hair do???

I have a headband similar to pic #2 that I wear at least once a week. I am not a morning person so my hair ends up in a messy bun or side braid quite often.

I saw a neat DIY on …love Maegan the other day. She did a hanging chains headband which was kind of a neat alternative to the hippie-ish look. 🙂
