i’m wearing: free people crochet hi low cardigan/dress (available here in rust color for $88), white slip dress from barneys co-op (old), asos boyfriend belt, jessica simpson wedges, foley & corinna fringe clutch, f21 ring and the turquoise necklace belonged to my grandmother.

this cardigan/dress was originally priced at $108. it was listed on gilt for only $59. and then because i used my klout perk, i saved another 60% off…bringing this cardigan/dress to like $24. i’m sure you’ve all heard of gilt, right? it is a members only shopping site where you can get designer clothes & accessories at prices of up to 60% off. i have found some AMAZING deals on there. the trick is to get on right when the new sales start (9am PST/12pm EST) and if you see something you like, put it in your cart ASAP! you then have like 10-15 minutes to decide if you want to purchase before it gets put back into inventory. i’m sorry to bore my blogger friends but surprisingly a few of my non-blogging friends/family had never heard of it!

p.s. there are a number of members only shopping sites (hautelook, rue la la, myhabit-to name a few) but i tend to shop gilt most often.

I really need to shop the flash sale sites more often – I’ve never bought anything from them! I get the emails every morning & then just delete them 🙁 Maybe I will pay closer attention to Gilt from now on! 🙂

Oh, I love this dress on you – I am obsessed with crochet right now and trying to find that perfect skirt!

I love this dress! Crochet AND hi-low, perfect. You styled it perfectly with the cognac shoes and belt and pop of turquoise! I LOVE Klout perks! The Gilt perk has been my favorite so far. Waiting on my Sony earphones! Lol. But my score has gone down because I’ve been so busy I haven’t had time to tweet!

What a great deal you got on that dress! I love how you paired it with the turquoise accessories. I subscribe to Gilt but I stopped reading the emails because all the sales were just too tempting!

Wow! Major score. What a pretty dress. Adore crochet, eyelet, lace and it’s all so perfect with cognac how you styled it. Perfect. I need to check my klout perks more often!

This is such a pretty feminine look. At first I thought the dress/cardigan was lace but I like the slightly bohemian feel of the crochet – gorgeous xo

First hi-low that I have seen in crochet…love it! Great accessory choices with the tan and turquoise and the fringe on the bag!

I love the style of this dress! Jen, I’ve yet to see a hi-low crochet hem dress! This is a first, and I love how you styled it with the turquoise necklace. Gilt and Ruelala are my worst nightmares, and add myhabit? AHH!

Ah! I almost got that with my 60% off, I ended up getting nude pumps for like $10 bucks or something stupid…I’m dying over that bag!

I’ve been looking at Jessica Simpson’s shoes and have to admit I love her designs and colors. Those wedges look comfortable enough to chase after my 2 year old. 🙂

Oh, you scored a good one. I just hate how long it takes for those sites to ship. I want instant gratification. Thanks for sharing on Monday Mingle.
