pics of my hair straightened with the hana titanium straightener.

my new hana straightener along with a bunch of other fun goodies (sleep mask, round brush, e.l.f. eyelash curler and more)!

as you all know, i am ALWAYS on the hunt for new products to try. so when misikko contacted me asking me to review their hana titanium straightener (also featured by marie claire), i was totally up for it. i straighten my hair every other day and am always paranoid that mine is going to break on me. most people think my hair is naturally straight, but it’s not. i made the BIGGEST mistake of my life when i was a teenager. i got a PERM. yes, a perm. my perfectly straight hair was NEVER the same. i seriously need to have my mom scan a pic of my perm for you. but the point of my story is that ever since then, my hair grew in like half straight/half curly. and not in a good way. but i digress. back to the review:

what i love: heats up fast. doesn’t stick/pull your hair. safe to use on damp hair. i use a straightener to curl my hair and this straightener actually curls better than the straightener i’ve been using. the straightener itself also came in a great heat proof pouch that i love for easy packing/travel.

what i don’t love: does not automatically turn off in case you accidentally leave it on. which i am always paranoid i will do (my current straightener does). would like to see the on/off temp control switch on the outside of the unit like some of their other models.

if you are in the market for a new straightener, you should definitely stop by misikko and check out all of their hana hair products. they also carry chi straighteners for all of you chi fans out there.

disclosure: this straightener was gifted to me for this review. all opinions are my own.

I’m glad you like it, I haven’t tried mine yet..

Ps, I totally had a perm in the 3rd grade, now my hair is like this and no longer straight.

Haha – I want to see the perm picture stat! I never needed a perm, because my hair is so darn naturally curly on it’s own…and is SUCH a pain to blowdry straight! 🙁 Your hair looks amazing in these pictures, btw!

I didn’t know perms could change your hair forever! that is scary! is that true! I am glad I never got one then even just to try it out!

I’ll be doing a review on this product soon as well! I did the same thing…in 6th grade I had a perm…the WORST decision that I could have ever done…the bonus? It was a tight spiral perm…sexy huh?

I love this review! I am on the hunt for a new straightener (I’m a slave to it) and I’ll definitely consider this.

I am on the hunt for a new straightener. I am using a cheap one that I feel is ruining my hair. Great review!
