mommy & me

me and eep at the beach

i don’t usually share pics of my son on my blog (scared of those weirdo’s out there…none of you, of course!) but i just love these pics of us. as i mentioned a few days ago, we took him to the beach last weekend for the first time. it wasn’t a planned trip…we were just on a drive and hopped out  at the beach…hence the jeans and rolled up pants. so…as you can see…i am not always dressed up..lol. oh, and i’m wearing my $2 garage sale seven jeans AGAIN.

These pictures are SO precious! I have a picture of my brother & I when we were little at the Oregon Coast that’s taken from behind like this and we have our arms around each other…it is one of my favorites of all time! I miss living close to the ocean 🙁

I am so glad you shared. I felt the same way about sharing my whole family with the world of crazy. Everyone is different and their blogs are a reflection of what “they” want it to be. I changed my mind when I realized that they especially him is such a part of my funny world. One day he will look at it and say his mom was beautiful, funny, smart, wise and oh, there I am look at my teeth, my hair is sticking straight up, my big blue eyes. My mom was so silly, but I love her. I hope you share more pics of you and eep, but if you don’t its fine, your blog is a reflection of you and people will read regardless.

I love it!!! His curls are sooooo precious and I love seeing you in mommy mode! 🙂

So…it’s funny that you should mention posting pics of the kids…because well, I had a very ‘interesting’ thing happen to me yesterday which reminded me of something that happened awhile back. What happened yesterday: I was pumping gas and I started to notice there was this group of guys at the pump next to me that were not being subtle at all about looking at me. I turned my back to them and ignored them. As I was getting in my car, I looked up, and one of them had his phone pointed at me – taking pictures!!!! I was so angry I was shaking. (Still shaking now as I type this.) So I called my husband and told him and he of course, laughed! UGH!!!! This is not the first time something like this has happened to ME. CREEPERS!!!! WHY in the H-E double hockey sticks would you want pictures of a complete stranger???!!! I don’t even want to know!

But this reminded me of a time when my daughter was two. We were at an aquarium and three men walked up, told me my daughter was beautiful and asked if they could take pictures of MY DAUGHTER. I didn’t even answer, I just hugged her closely to me and took off. Then ANOTHER couple outside the aquarium did the same thing!!! All in one day! I was so freaked out by all this. What is wrong with people?

So, I get your point. There are a lot of weirdos out there – I have posted pics of my kids but always with this nagging thought in the back of my mind.
