cream pleated skirt

i am wearing: anthropologie blouse, h&m cardigan sweater, vintage pleated skirt c/o yeye vintage boutique, vintage ring and cole haan leopard flats.

sooooo, i’ve been thinking about starting a weekly (or monthly) post where i show you how i wear one article of clothing two different ways…one look for date night/going out and one for everyday wear. for example, this cream pleated skirt…the first outfit is my glam style and the second is my mom style (or everyday style). i’ve also been on a garage/estate sale-ing kick lately and am slightly obsessed with finding one of a kind vintage pieces to add to my wardrobe. today i am excited to introduce you to yeye vintage boutique. yeye is one of my FAVORITE vintage etsy shops. you can see me in yeye vintage here, here and here! oh and i also bought this dress but just haven’t worn it yet!!! i am even more excited to announce that the lovely izzy of yeye vintage is giving away a $30 gift certificate to her etsy shop to one lucky reader.

how to win: follow izzy’s blog via twitter, facebook or bloglovin and leave a comment here telling me how you follow AND which item you would love to have from her shop! contest ends fri, nov 25th at 9pm PST. winner will be chosen at random and contacted via email so please be sure to leave a valid email when commenting. i will also announce the winner on this blog. thanks for reading and good luck!

p.s. let me know what you guys think on the glam/everyday style idea!

I have been thinking about doing the same thing – showing how to wear one piece different ways. I think it’s good because it helps other ladies figure out how to rework items in their own wardrobe. Love that fur stole!!

Gorgeous skirt! I love when blogger show remixes of items. It’s nice to see versatility in an item and that you can wear it in many ways.
