Short Suits

left to right: rachel zoe, rebecca minkoff, tibi.

the short suit: i love all three of these looks. rachel zoe can do no wrong…this all white suit is PERFECTION. i never used to be a fan of red but something about this red suit with the casual heather gray tee underneath it is something i would totally wear. the peach short suit is making me wish it were spring already.

Color Blocking

left to right: j. mendel, peter som , peter som.

color blocking: i am glad to see that the color blocking trend continues through spring/summer 2012. i am not finished with this trend and have yet to wear my vintage cobalt blue ruffle dress (oh, and i just bought this one too). i am thinking i need a bold orange or sea foam green belt to go with it now!

white out trend

left to right: 3.1 phillip lim, rachel zoe, nicholas k.

white out trend: this is another trend that is sticking around in 2012. i tried out the look here and have another white on white outfit coming up on the blog tomorrow. i have always had a love affair with white blouses and dresses although now with a toddler, it’s not something i can wear as often as i’d like.

Seafoam Green

left to right: aquilano rimondi, diane von furstenberg, marc by marc jacobs.

sea foam or peppermint green: i have been looking for a sea foam green piece to add to my wardrobe for some time. right now i’ve got my eye on this sweater although i would DIE for that aquilano rimondi pleated midi!!!

p.s. i am linking up with kristy elena’s “full-time fabulous” blog event. click here to read more.

Yes to the short suits! Love them, if only it wasnt so cold and rainy where I live, I could actually make use of them. I am happy to see color blocking is still about, its such a fabulous trend, easy to wear and so flattering!

Love all these trends, though I agree with you that the “all white” look doesn’t really work when you have kids. 🙁 That seafoam pleated skirt is MAJOR!

Gorgeous choices! I was so into the mint shade in nail polish and accessories for such a long time, but never tried it out in clothes – that’s definitely on my to-do list for spring!
