getting my hair washed…heavenly!

i want to live here. it is my new happy place.

i am amazed at how many brushes she used without any tangles!

the finishing touches!

believe it or not, i didn’t match on purpose! =)

tah dah! the final product!

one of my girlfriends in nyc used to always get blowouts and would even wear a shower cap in the rain on the subway so as to not mess it up (this is completely normal in nyc, btw). so when i got a chance to get a blowout at drybar…i was ecstatic! as soon as i walked in i was in love with the atmosphere. caseybrook was my stylist and greeted me within minutes. she offered me a photobook to look through and after i told her what i wanted, she suggested a mix of the “cosmopolitan” and the “mai-tai” (or a cosmo-tai) which is big loose beachy waves/curls. my shampoo was fabulous (if you can’t tell in the 1st pic) and i was happy to hear that they use l’oreal and moroccan oil products. while she was blowdrying my hair, i had NO idea what to expect…i think she had three round brushes in my hair at one time!?! but it turned out EXACTLY as i had hoped. i spent the rest of the day shopping with my mom (and checking my hair out in every mirror) and felt like a million bucks. i am SO adding a drybar blowout package to my xmas list! have you visited the drybar yet???

my hair after a day of shopping and trying on clothes. still fab!

i received my blowout c/o drybar and have to give a big thank you to caseybrook (my stylist) and lorrie (store manager) for their amazing service. i will be back. and thanks mom for being my personal photog for the day! =)

p.s. i am wearing: white house black market lace sleeve sweater, f21 scarf and jeans, cole haan leopard print shoes (similar) and michael kors watch. nail polish is “milan” by nailtiques.

Isn’t it so funny how, when we get pampered, we feel so uplifted and amazing! You look awesome! I do the same thing that you said…every reflective surface on the day I get my hair done is now a mirror. Are you paying attention to me?? I’m sorry, I was admiring my hair. 😉

Your hair looks absolutely beautiful! I don’t think we have drybar in Chicago…will have to check out the site! Your mom did a fantastic job photographing too! And yes…I know it is very unfair that I have an uber talented Mom but…there have been so many unfair things in my life that I think I deserve 1 thing….which is a great Mom!
