blooper reel

me twisting my ankle during a photo session (these are the pics you saw).

duhhhhhh….mouth agape (these are the pics you saw).

um, hello…the remote is in my mouth (these are the pics you saw).

jumping pics are never as cute as you think they might be in your head (these are the pics you saw).

one of our favorite things to do on saturday mornings is to get up early, grab starbucks coffees and go garage sale-ing. after finding my new favorite seven jeans at a garage sale for $2, i am convinced there are more treasures out there. this weekend i scored a brand new cream cape-like sweater from a garage sale and two cute dresses from an o’neill sample sale. and then we were on the hunt for old towels for the dogs. they literally rip them up daily (what were we thinking getting TWO puppies?!?!?). and then it happened. i was recognized as “the (un) stylish housewife”. i must have turned five shades of red. when i first started this blog, it was a challenge to myself to try and become more stylish. i never thought of how my blog name made it seem like i consider myself “stylish”. in fact, most days i do not look like i do in my photos. i roll right outta bed and brush my teeth to go garage sale-ing and i usually go grocery shopping with little makeup and hair pulled back in a ponytail. =) so while i will probably not (never say never) do a photo session in my garage sale-ing finest, i thought it would be fun to share a few of my blooper pics with you guys.

p.s. hi to the sweet girl i met at the garage sale…you should TOTALLY get the sequin skirt! =) and please tell your friend the puppies LOVE the pink floyd snuggie…lol. i seriously considered keeping it for myself!

When my mom was here taking care of the kids, she got them hooked on garage sale-ing and now they BEG me to go every Saturday! 🙂 I love these blooper pics, because this is totally the truth. I have outtakes folders for each of my shoots and it’s hilarious to look through them. And I know what you mean – I got recognized at LOFT the other day when I had *no* makeup on and my hair pulled back in a bun…pretty sure they unfollowed me immediately – LOL!

Wow, I never thought of looking at garage sales for clothing. I normally think I’s be able to find more house decor and estate jewelry there. And that’s a great deal for those sevens!

hahaha! You still look cute even in your blooper picks. I LOVE a good garage sale too, unfortunately the weather up here in Oregon is starting to get crummy so the garage sales are dying down.
