i saw the candy corn manicure on pinterest and of course had to duplicate it (oops, i just now realized that i did the colors in the wrong order…nice). but then i got impatient and got out the nail stamp kit. it is so easy to use. my husband thought it was going to be just another thing i HAD to have that has sat around unused (like this). but i have definitely gotten my money’s worth. to create the candy corn manicure, i used sally hansen in “white on”, sally hansen in “sun-kissed” and butter london in “cheeky chops”. then for the spider and skull & crossbones, i used konad nail art image plate M28 with the black special polish. i have this nail stamp kit, but you could really get away with just buying theΒ stamper/scraper and a couple of image plates. and i use regular nail polish instead of the “special polish” all of the time. and this my friends…is pretty much going to be my halloween costume this year. are you dressing up? moms…do your kids want you to dress up? what are you guys going to be???

edit: i have decided to share this mani with the lovely girls over at much love illy, casey wiegand, danielle from changing lanes and jess from boho baby bump! click on the pic below for more deets!

I did this (just the candy corns) on my 4 1/2 year old the other day. Totally cute. Now she wants a peacock manicure to match her Halloween costume. I think I’ll just go lazy and paint her nails blue/green/purple glitter!

Very impressed! You see, I would be able to do a perfect job painting my left hand, but when it comes to painting my right… ummm ya, not so much! They look great, love the little skull & crossbones!
