i am wearing: missoni for target skirt, free people trapeze tank, free people brown tank, f21 necklace & ring, h&m bracelets, michael kors watch and seychelles wedges.

i was one of those crazy people that stayed up all night to get my missoni for target shop on! i woke up at 12, 1 and finally 3am and was lucky to get this skirt and a scarf. and i’m glad i did because the target site crashed and was down most of the next day because of the traffic. silly me…i was thinking i was going to be able to stroll into my local target and get a few more things but apparently everyone in town was waiting for this collection as well. both of the stores close to me sold out within minutes. so i’m glad this skirt fit! it will be fun with tights and boots when the weather cools down. did you score anything from the missoni for target collaboration?

p.s. if you come across any good missoni for target ootd posts, please leave me a comment w/ the link…i’ve been dying to see how others have styled their missoni pieces! thank you!!!

Love this skirt on you – it’s so cute! I wish I had stayed up & done some online shopping because my local store was all sold out, too. But, I did get my daughter some cute pieces! 🙂

Looks great! That’s the exact skirt I wanted but alas, all of the stores around here were sold out of everything by 8:30am!

Lovely!! It looks way batter on than on the hanger at the store. I was lucky to get a couple of items online and my store was one of the few that didn’t have a sea of people after the Missoni collection. Here is my take on one of the items I got:

LOVE IT! I was busy and forgot. I thought I lived in a beat town…Apparently not. Everything was gone!

Same here, haha. But not everything. I got pumps and later, tights! Later still, I got this skirt. I’m not sure if it’ll work on my body though. It looks nice … until I wear it and it gets out of place.

Everything looks good in the mirror and then later sometimes not!

I love this skirt on you. To be honest I am not a huge fan of the Missoni (gasp), but with this skirt and blouse combo- you have changed my mind!

YOU are looking amazing in this post (& I don’t just think its that stylish missoni skirt either!) I think its great you were that dedicated to getting something from the collection you were up early – as they say the early bird gets the worm, and in this case you got a hot skirt. Looking amazing Jenn.

It was definitely worth staying up late because this skirt is adorable! Looks great on you. I never saw this online or in my store, must have been gone before I got there. Love how you styled it, too!

Someone must have returned one & I figured I’d try it on when I found it. It fit, and I thought about it – verdict: It looks quite fall but feels good for summer = perfect for a fashionista in FL. I bought it, happily, then went off to the bedroom to style….

But I’m curvy and it rides up by the time I get up from sitting (things want to end up at my smaller-than-hips waist) – this material doesn’t help (even though I love it! I was so happy it wasn’t wool). I’m worried about showing off my underthings or worse. I can’t wear it lower because then my belly will pop out.

I wonder if I were to luckily find a larger size, whether that would be longer…

I’m hoping I can make it work, but if not I will have to force myself to return it.

Seeing it on you doesn’t give me any extra hope for me! Hahaha. I also want to see about it on others and read about how they like it.

I’m sure I’ll blog about it in the end … if there’s any real story or if I do keep it.

LOVE the way you styled this skirt … I bought a dress in the same pattern. You can see how I styled my Missoni items here: http://gennyalexander.typepad.com/alexander/2011/09/fall-is-here.html and here: http://gennyalexander.typepad.com/alexander/2011/09/missoni-for-target.html

I have a couple more items to still style and my local Target STILL has items for sale. Crazy since the rest of the country seems to be sold out. I always laugh and say it pays to live in an unfashionable area!!

That is one gorgeous skirt that’s for sure 🙂 As an aside, does anyone else have trouble reading the posts? It seems like the text is way too light and my eyes have to strain.
