i’m wearing: j brand jeans, white target tank, nordstrom rack cape (sorta), beaded jewelry from the womens expo and star ling cork heels.

um, yeah, so we had to kill two rattlesnakes today. i almost stepped on this one. not ok. i also had to pull a a soggy dead mouse out of one of the puppies mouths today too. and if that didn’t turn your stomach, i pulled a dead hawk out of their mouths last week. i mean, you really can teach your kids about the circle of life living here. oh, and the local mountain lion was sighted 1 1/2 miles from our house. so here i am taking pics out in the oak grove looking like coyote or mountain lion bait i’m sure. lol.

And they say Australia is terrible for scary animals!! EEK. I honestly don’t know what I would have done if I saw rattle snakes. Fainted is probably my 1st guess, run screaming hysterically is my 2nd guess. Lucky indeed you were wearing jeans – and a cute outfit at that 🙂

    1. Adore the cape
    2. F. THAT. Worst I ever had to wrangle out of my cat’s mouth was a garter snake. *shudder*

I friggin’ hate snakes…first thing I saw when I stepped off the deck on my vacation was a damn snake. I was like this better be the last one I see this whole week.

On another note, I love the way the shirt looks on, for some reason I thought it didn’t open – now I wish they gave me one 😉

Wow you sure got your dose of nature today! We found two snakes in our backyard recently, and I ran as far away as I could!! They were harmless (but big!) though. Anyway, I love this sheer jacket/cape you’re wearing–what a pretty look!

um, no. no no no. Nooooo snakes or rodents are allowed near me when taking outfit pics (the ones near you must not be aware of the rules). Seriously – I’m terrified of WASPS so I would still be shaking over these encounters LOL.

Your outfit is fab – I think that cape saved you! It is lovely, doll! 🙂

My goodness, that sounds scary!! LOVE your cape! And your outfit.

Seeing it reminded me of something else I need to pack for my trip in case it’s cold in the hotel conference room.

I followed you here from WIWW.
