instead of the same five questions otherwise known as FBFF, this week we are doing a visual link-up. and i am so excited because it is a manicure link-up! it’s been a while since i’ve used my stamp kit and i haven’t had a chance to use my new zoya polish (it’s called dove) either so it came at a perfect time! it is a nice light grey color although it kinda photographed like the same color in this mani. oh well! but speaking of manicures…i have a question for you all. do you use a nail strengthener??? i use “feed me” by essie as my base but it doesn’t seem to be keeping my nails from being brittle. i’ve also used nailtiques which i really like but i’m just curious what you all use. can i start saying y’all even though i don’t have an accent? you won’t mind will you? =)

don’t forget to stop by thrifty & shameless to check out everyone else’s manicures!!! you can also see more of mine here.

Ive recently started using ‘Nail Magic’ as a base coat, and I think the splitting/brittleness has gotten better! Got it at Sally’s.

Wow! That is a lovely look. I really like the results people are getting with these nail art stamper things. I wish I could buy one, but have a feeling the craze has not yet hit Vientiane, Lao PDR. Maybe in a few years….

Love this!! The color is so soft and sublte. I love any grey colors… you’ll be able to see that from my Mani. LOL I use Qtica from Ulta as a nail hardener and it is heaven. It’s a little expensive ($20) for a nail polish bottle, but oh so worth it!!!

I love Zoya Dove. Did you get any more polishes during this last promo? I picked up Shay (which I loved from last month’s Birchbox), Cassi and Yara – the green from the Mirrors collection. So excited to get them in!

I used to use Nailtiques to grow my nails too and thought it worked great! Not using anything now, but need to!

Love this mani – it’s so intricate & pretty! Btw, I use either OPI Nail Envy as my base coat or the Nailtiques Formula II. But, what also helps is taking fish oil 3x a day and getting plenty of iron in your diet! 🙂

I used a nail stamping kit too! I love how subtle your nails are, they’re absolutely stunning.

    (And I’ll admit–I don’t use a base coat.)

I used to use Nailtiques and liked it, but it has been a while now since I have tried it.
I love your mani! The design is awesome. Do you just get those at a beauty supply? Or are they harder to find?
