i am wearing: gray suede by revlon for the base, coat azure by essie, nice is nice by essie, french affair by essie, da bush by essie and cheeky chops by butter london.

i saw this mani on pinterest and knew i had to try it. and wouldn’t you know it…as soon as i finished taking these pics, i smudged the heck out of them! at least they were pretty for a few minutes. in other news, the puppies are now gaining their confidence and have decided they no longer need to listen to me. rocco (we’ve changed their names to rocco and jake…for now) took off after a rabbit today and i had eep in my arms and jake running the opposite direction. so much for those great puppies who listen i told you about. =)

p.s. who was the original nail polish company to start using the cheeky names? i don’t remember nail polishes having such crazy names years ago. does anyone know???

Your nails always look perfect – I can’t wait to try this one! Could you post on how you do a general manicure? (The tools or products that you use) I can never seem to get it right – it always looks like Edward Scissorhands hacked away my cuticles and that a three year old cut my nails (insert ashamed face).

Very pretty. I love Essie nail polish collection. It’s so easy to apply, doesn’t chip easily and last longer!

I think the ‘cheeky’ (love that word)! nail polish name trend began many years ago (the mid-90s)? with OPI. I love perusing their line, just for the names. I love their colors, too.

Love your nails — I wish I had the patience to do mine myself.

Cute idea! I just gave myself a mini-pedi today. After walking around NYC for five days straight, my feet and calluses were atrocious! Now it feels soooo much better!
