ootd: vintage

i am wearing: vintage dress from maefair vintage, jcrew belt, shoes from nordstrom, foley & corinna disco city bag, stella & dot & h&m bracelets and michael kors watch.

why isn’t polyester more popular??? i can’t wrinkle this dress if i tried!!! it was my first purchase when i started this blog. then when i got it, i wasn’t in love with the sleeves so i tucked it in the back of my closet and forgot about it. i absolutely adore the print so i decided to roll up the sleeves and give it a twirl. and i LOVED it! btw, my hair in the third pic is so deceiving…i have like three hairs left on my head so don’t let that ponytail fool you! =)

p.s. i am updating this for the EBEW thrifted edition. i bought this at an online second hand store called maefair vintage and it is pretty much the only thing i have thrifted besides this belt in the last ten years. i LOVE finding treasures at estate sales but the getting up at 6am part keeps me from doing it more often!

Those are your new shoes from Nordstrom, right? I love them!! So perfect with that dress! I have just discovered a cool vintage place downtown and have had so much fun buying pieces there – I know what you mean about polyester…LOL!

I like polyester for that very reason. It is near impossible to wrinkle. Perfect for chic moms. However, it doesn’t breath very well. That makes me sad.

If polyester breathed better I would be all over it. Unfortunately, I sweat quite a bit, so fabrics that don’t breath tend to get left behind. That being said, you look fabulous! Love the pattern of the dress, especially with the knotted belt!

I really think this might be one of my favorite vintage outfits I’ve seen on EBEW. That dress is seriously just absolute perfection. I host a photo thrifting link up every week and I’d absolutely love if you submitted something!
