as you may or may not know, i am in the process of painting and decorating one of our spare rooms. i am a little bummed because i lost my “before” pics in the camera/memory card fiasco yesterday…so now my “after” pics won’t show you the transformation =( but while going through all of my junk, i came across a “book about me” that i made when i was eight years old (that would be 1983-woah). these pics are from that book.

the eight year old me answered the following questions:

favorite book: the giving tree…still love it, btw.

favorite tv show: three’s company…”come and knock on our door…we’ve been waiting for you”…lol…how do i still know the words to the theme song?!?!

favorite movie: blue lagoon…my husband thought that was a racy movie for an eight year old…um, i also saw fast times at ridgemont high when i was little so i would say blue lagoon was pretty tame in comparison! hey, don’t judge…i turned out ok! =)

nicest dream: owning a hello kitty store.

who i would like to look like: apparently i wanted to look like the girl in the last pic. maybe i should bring back the side pony and matching puffy painted shirts & shoes??? =)

i wonder: how old god is???

if i could call the president i would say: why isn’t there a girl president???

AND THE BEST Q & A:

if i could be any person in the world i would be: BOY GEORGE’S SISTER….lol, lol, lol!!!! as juno would say…DREAM BIG. =)

How fun! It’s so nice to look back at stuff we have done when we were younger

Hilarious! Boy George’s Sister?!! lol The Giving Tree was and also still one of my favorites as well. Blue Lagoon was my favorite as a child as well! So funny, I can’t even count the number of movies I saw too young now looking back…I used to watch Cheech & Chong all the time?! It was so funny to watch the Blue Lagoon as an adult after many years and wonder what I must have thought was going on in some of those racy scenes! 🙂

those are some pretty deep answers for an eight-year old…but then again, you were watching racy movies, so maybe you were just a super grown up eight-year old! =)
