i am wearing: gondola dress c/o shabby apple, marc fisher yellow heels, necklace from queen eileens.

i love this dress…the end.

i could seriously just write that one line for my blog post today. i fell in love with this dress the second i laid eyes on it. i’m obsessed with kelly green and stripes right now so it was the perfect combo. colorblocking and bold stripes…yes, please. my first thought when i put it on was how perfect it would be for opening day at the racetrack with my floppy hat (of course) but then i remembered we don’t go anymore because we feel to bad for the horses. i could not stop twirling it all.day.long…but come on, can you blame me? i felt like such a lady…but in a good way, not in that one way where a child calls you a lady (or worse…ma’am) and you are reminded how old you really are =) my mom even said it made me look 6ft tall=SCORE! i was originally planning on wearing it with my nude pumps but i think these yellow heels added the perfect pop of color. and you know i wore my new favorite necklace for like the third time in one week!

First off- the yellow pumps were definitely the right choice! I love twirly dresses. (I just have no where to wear them!) This one is gorgeous. I was eyeing some of the dresses on Shabby Apple’s site and I love the “La Tour Eiffel”. I think that would look amazing with some red pumps and a red clutch 🙂

[btw– you were right! Blogging is addicting!! ]

I love this dress too. At first I wasn’t sure if it was a shirt and skirt combo, but I love that it’s a dress, and the color of your heels are so fun!

    Yes! Yes! Yes!!!!

Okay, this is NOT an Herbal Essences commercial.
BUT that is the best dress ever created.
And I wish to someday be able to afford a Shabby Apple dress, because they’re all so beautiful and flattering. And I’m just so, so poor!

Gorgeous color and perfect shape on you, friend!
