i am wearing: white hudson jeans & black/white embroidered peasant top, both from nordstrom rack. marc jacobs bag, marc jacobs sunglasses, h&m bracelets, michael kors watch, dolce vida wedges also from nordstrom rack and banana republic link ring. my nail polish is “cheeky chops” by butter.

ok, can we talk about white jeans for a minute? in particular white SKINNY jeans. i have been on the hunt and can NOT find a pair i like anywhere! i’m sure i could find a $300 pair that would be fab but i am looking for a pair on the cheap! so far target, h&m and forever 21 have been a bust. i know i have tried them on at other stores too but those are the first that come to mind. they are always too thin or just ill fitting. so for now, you get white bootleg cut (although i want to fib and call them wide legged or flared to seem more stylish…ha ha). i also tried out butter london nail polish for the first time and i have to admit…for $14 for one bottle of nail polish, i was not that impressed. meh.

p.s. anyone want to bet that both my mom and husband will ask what “meh” means???

Oh my goodness, Jennifer! Let’s talk about white jeans! I have also been hunting for a pair. I will share with you my dream pair. Maybe you’re budget is looser than mine and you can get them…

Sadly, my budget is way too tight for those, but I find them GLORIOUS. I get a little choked up looking at them with those stacked heels, and I imagine so many shoe styles looking great. Wedges! Okay, I should stop ranting about these darn jeans. Clearly I am quite passionate about them.
If they are not what you are looking for I hope you find your perfect pair soon!
White skinnies for Summer seem very necessary 🙂

Oh and Gap also has these for a more simpler skinny jean look.

I know what you mean! I searched and searched for a pair for a long time. I finally found a pair at Madewell that was reasonably priced for jeans (79) that I LOVE! They aren’t too tight or see through. The length needed to be altered (I’m a shorty) but they do it on sight for only $7! I highly recommend them.

I had two of my pairs of jeans made into skinny jeans this year. I just took them to my seamstress and she tapered them in. One was a pair of seven for all mankind and another a Rock and Republic so they both had great stretch and I wasn’t wearing them as a boot leg enough. It cost me $20. Thats an option.

I love JCrew’s denim. It’s pretty reasonably priced, all things considered. I bought a pair of matchstick jeans last fall and I wore them to pieces! Good luck on your search 🙂

Okay I need to know if they both asked what meh means. 🙂

I think those jeans look fantastic on you. Bootcut is back in style along with wide-legged and flare!

This is such a pretty combo. That blouse is very pretty.
I am sorry you are having a tough time finding the jeans. I have a pair from F21 that I like. I thought for sure H&M or F21 would have had what you wanted. But the fit is tricky I am sure.
Yeah, just call these flared and you are good to go!

Oh I love Nordstrom Rack, there is one literally next door to my office and it is the best escape for a stressful workday, but a horrible escape for my savings account 😉
Also, I love the idea of mixing bangles with a statement watch. I never wear anything on that hand because I feel my watch already has so much going on, but I absolutely love the look with bangles!

Love the outfit and that it has a slight boho/hippie look to it without over-doing it!!

My theory on those perfect white jeans is: you will find them when you stop looking!! That’s how it always works out for me.

I posted my very first ootd post today!! It wasn’t near as scary as I thought it would be!!
