i am wearing: chambray shirt from jcrew, free people sweater trapeze tank, blank nyc skinny cargos, miz mooz boots, thrifted belt, necklace/ring from target.

after going back and forth via email, samantha of the brunette one came up with this outfit for me for the paper doll project. well, kinda…she suggested an orange or purple button up underneath but since you all know my closet is lacking in the color department…this is what i came up with. she also suggested a grey tank and i was really digging the grey with this ensemble, but it was WAY too friggen cold out for a tank. i sure have gotten my moneys worth out of these pants though…they are so versatile! oh…and i curled my hair again with my straightener. this is with no hair product so you can see how awesome it works for a messy beach-ish wave do. btw…don’t forget to click on samanthas link above to see what i chose for her! a complete list of participants is below. and a BIG shout out to suze of miss vinyl ahoy for putting this event together!

p.s. i tried the hello, monkeyface hand pose in the last pic…recognize it? hers looks a little more fancy though =)

This is so cute. I love the swing tank and what a great idea to wear it over a button down for the current season. Love it.
