i am wearing: chambray shirt from jcrew (similar), white tank from express (VERY old), maxi dress from madison ave in palm springs (few years old) and the necklace is from target.

this outfit post is dedicated to my bff’s mom, pam! she makes fun of me because i am always looking at the ground in my pics. during the 30×30 she even posted on my facebook page that she hoped i found whatever it was that i was looking for on the ground for the last 30 days! har har har. so today i look like i am having the time of my life taking pics indoors smiling right at the camera. i had just spilled my bottle of water all over my dress so i hope you can’t see it in my pics. i am actually really proud of myself for making my dress look like a skirt so THAT is the reason for my big smile =)

p.s. yes…this is the same shirt i wore for the paper doll project. this is what i do…i pull something out of the closet and wear it non-stop. i have a feeling this shirt is going to be my new favorite.

Still, I’ve yet to find that perfect maxi skirt, and I love how you made the dress into skirt! I also tend to look at the ground in my pictures as well. 😉 You’re not alone! Big fan of that shirt as well! xo

Good idea! I have a black maxi dress that would be perfect. I always feel too short to wear maxi dresses though!

Haha, my mom always looks at my blog and critiques the way I stand – she says she hates when I look down too! You look gorgeous though – I don’t blame you for loving this shirt 🙂

I love this outfit. You have inspired me to create a similar look. Nice job making the dress work like a skirt too.
So funny about the comments on your poses. I always look away or down too. My husband always asks ‘what are you looking at?’ if he is taking my photos when I do this.
