today i am half spiderwoman and half barney =) i have never worn this outfit this way and i am not sure i ever would again. i am more of a minimalist so normally i would wear the skirt with the white shirt and probably just black tights and black shoes with a simple silver necklace. i have had this free people scarf for over a year and have only worn it maybe three times and never tucked into a belt. isn’t it weird how you can completely change your look using all of your own stuff? i would love to see how someone else would dress me.

for some reason my nails are stronger and in better shape than ever AFTER i had my son. i always thought that your nails & hair were supposed to grow DURING pregnancy. not the case for me (although my hair is now falling out in clumps which is no fun). this is the first time in my life that i am actually having fun painting my nails. well, nail actually. i only painted this one nail. because it takes three coats and who really has that kinda time with a four month old…lol.

    That is one good looking nail! My nails were great during pregnancy and continue to be awesome. I thought they’d get worse afterward, but no. And while my hair fell out in clumps (that finally stopped around 6 months) it’s still amazingly thick.

      thank you! the nail polish is sally hansen’s complete salon manicure in “gilty (not guilty) pleasure” and the nude is a bottle of cheap polish i bought from a nail salon years ago. the brand is mirage and the color is cappuccino.
